Well it would have helped if I went to their website and not relied on a vendor to have the same info! Thanks for the directions to the detail. I wonder how durable the steps are without the step slider skid plates? Once you add door delete, lights, skids and steps you are $3k in assuming you install yourself
Watch their video and some others, they explain/show their ruggedness.

Yes you'll be in for that amount plus tax. I'm holding for a sale by them unless I go LOD Destroyers.

We have the Rock Slide Engineering steps. Works great. The wife is 5’2” and the steps were necessary after the lift and 37s. Sometimes they get confused so I carry a magnet to trigger the sensors. I do recommend RSE for big Jeeps and stumpy people.

Good picture.
If possible, please measure from the door sill to the step. Or if unmodded 392XR, what is the height from concrete to LOD step?

It is 5.5" from the step to the sill and the step is 19.5" from the ground.

Installed my Rock Slide steps today. Installation was pretty straightforward & helps to have an extra set of hands around (the steps are pretty meaty). Appearance - look pretty good but they are fairly substantial compared to some of the non-electric setups. But they perform very well - the step projects at a good angle that does really help entry/exit. The real test will happen in the morning when my 5 year old climbs in but I do expect it to make a huge difference for him. I right now do not need a step but I could also see them helping me out too when the Jeep grows here over the next couple of months. I’ll post up some better pics tomorrow after finishing up the lights, door delete kit, and guards.

Anyone have experience with RSE or LOD prematurely rusting in wintery salty road climates? Michigan DOT loves to use excessive salt on the roads.
