Looking for side steps/rock sliders. Lets see them

They have sensors in the door jam that activate a motor in the rear of the slider to activate the step/light on each side.

Once I get my other mods done, I'll be installing Rockslides steps with overlay on and with lights and door delete kits.

I will go with rock slider deployable steps on my 392 when it comes in. Question, what is the “overlay on and with lights and door delete kits?” I dont see any options or kits when I look at Morris to order them, just the standard rails/steps. Thanks for any info you have!

Had my Rocksliders delivered today. Going to try to install tomorrow if we have time. Did the door delete kit & guards as well. Will post pics & feedback too. Have a 392 Rubi XR and my 5yo has a hard time getting in at stock height. Looking into a lift & tires and then I’m going to have a hard time getting in too

I'm rolling the stock Sahara old man running boards while I decide between N-Fab Nerf steps and the LOD Destroyers.

I love the look of the N-Fab but am concerned about catching them on rocks. But also having a hard time with $1K+ for the LOD...

I love my LOD destroyer series. These are the black bare steel and they are heavy duty. I get compliments all the time. They don’t hang down too low and my 73 year old mom can get in my Jeep now. Straight forward install- no body bolts need to be removed. They also clean up nicely.

I really like my Westin 42-6025 Textured Black Triple Tube Rock Rail Step for Jeep Wrangler JL Unlimited 4dr. Sliders with a step.

I ordered the Mopar HD Rock Sliders on my JLUR.... most people say they aren't really big enough to be used as a step, i totally disagree, they function just fine that way. I believe as a slider they work absolutely fine, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

reasons I'll probably swap them out:
- They attach to the body vice the frame. yes they're rated to take the weight of the vehicle, BUT I wanna play hard in the rocks, so frame mounted would give me just a little more peace of mind.
- They stick out further from the body than I'd like. Even though any step is going to do this (aside form the RSE step), I don't need a step and would prefer something like the MC sliders posted above. I want something that will hug the body while providing ample protection. Basically, I want to be comfortable using the slider as a pivot point in rocks.
- Looks are not unimportant, and I like the look of other sliders (the MC style) better as well.

Well it would have helped if I went to their website and not relied on a vendor to have the same info! Thanks for the directions to the detail. I wonder how durable the steps are without the step slider skid plates? Once you add door delete, lights, skids and steps you are $3k in assuming you install yourself

I have been very happy with my White Knuckle sliders. They are frame mounted, and have the choice of angled or straight out, like mine; they cover the pinch seams and are very strong. I removed the company logo, btw; just a sticker.

Maybe. How do you protect yours from parking lot dings?

I have the Rock Hard 4x4 ones. They're angled up. If anyone opens a door too far or can't control their cart it is hitting my steps. Things are solid, double down as steps and sliders. When I get a JLU I'm getting a set for it too.
