I'm currently running BFG TA KO2s in 285/70/17. As much as I want to buy some new 35's, I'm hesitant to do so for several reasons:
-just bought new 33's for my JKU that I just traded for my JLU (was able to keep them and had JL stock tires placed on my traded JKU). Don't need an extra expense.
-been down that 35 road before with a previous JKU and dealt with the shortcomings of 35's (harsher ride, decreased fuel economy, etc) and don't want to be in that same boat again so to speak.

So show me your rigs with 33's on the Mopar 2" lift. I've seen plenty of pics of 35's & 37's on the Mopar lift but so far only 1 with 33's. Trying hard to be financially responsible and smart about this decision.
Thanks in advance.

It will look approximately like this Jeep that I saw the other day:

Snarky comment aside, I would go with a smaller lift than the Mopar lift if you're dead set on lifting and running 33s. The Mopar 2" lift will get you much more than the advertised 2" and will look silly with 33s IMO. Good for you for trying to do the financially responsible thing though. :like:

EDIT: Found a couple pics. From the side it doesn't look as silly as I expected.

Had the Mopar lift on my JK 2 door and actually got 3.5” measured lift, ran 33’s. I wanted to go 35’s but wife liked the look.... you always go with the wife :) It really doesn’t look bad though, just a matter of opinions.

I think the high top fender flares on the Rubicon make the 33's look disproportionate to the amount of lift. Trying to visualize how the 33's will look on a Jeep without the high top fender flares. Hoping a little better than what it looks like on the Rubicons.

I would agree with this^^^^ See this profile of my stock Rubi and hightop fenders in front.

I don't think it would look too good with stock offset rims though, The MT III's are offset -12, so that helps widen the stance and complete the look I was going for, subtle and simple.

JK47, how has your fuel economy been post lift?
