appreciate the update. have a line on some very well priced clayton's like you are running but I may keep looking.Well, I have the suspension finished but it now has even less weight as I took off the stock spare. Bumper is ordered and CavFab tire carrier is at the powder coater and I threw everything from 80 mph freeway to 35 mph hilly and curvy backroads and I’m not enjoying the front springs. It feels like a 3/4 ton suspension up front with 1/2 ton springs in the back. I thought about waiting until it’s completely finished to make up my mind but when I set my 275 pound ass on the front bumper, I only compress the front end 1/4 to 3/8 inch. When I stand on the hitch, I compress it 3/4 to 7/8”. I ordered MetalCloak front dual rate springs to try and see if I get a better ride.
