Looking for locking hidden storage vault

I’m looking for a locking vault that goes on the rear cargo “cubby” for the JL. I’ve found several, but all for JK. I have a JL hardtop, but need a secure place for my work laptop before I can get a soft top. Has anyone seen one like this for JLU?

I want one too. I see Tuffy offers one, but didn’t see it was only for JK.

Not big enough to put a laptop in, check out the tail gate lock box that might work best for you.

Also by the pictures it looks to be 2" deep it's not and closer to 7-8"

Yes it does, though I’m not sure how hard you would have to pry at it to get it to open anyway.

I contacted Tuffy about the cubby lock box about 2 months ago, I also wanted one. They emailed me back and said expect it Q2 of 2019 so I'm hoping they're still running on schedule.

We’re saying, even with the top off entirely, the rear under the floor storage area is locked shut by the tailgate, which cannot be opened without the key.

Love it. I have top down a lot and store everything in it including my computer.

I tried the center console which is small and not to secure.

FYI on my installation I took off black rear trim on back gate and discovered I could drill two more holes in box and mount it more securely. Works great well worth it.

Under full disclosure you lose six inches of floor storage when gate door is closed and in my 2 door rubicon leaves no room if back seat is down. Not a problem for me but if you carry stuff in back and someone sits in back seat you have issue.

The JK’s had a lot more room under the seats than the JL does, and the JL has air ducts under the front seats for the rear passengers’ feet. I doubt you’ll see useful lock boxes for under the front seats.

Edit.... Wanted to add some photos for those considering this option. I forgot to add the two shelves are optional... and can be added or removed.

Also you will notice I purchased two combination locks option as it comes with keys and I did not want all kinds of keys. Combo locks work great as I had that on my under the driver seat of my TJ for pistol.
