Does anyone know what site I can order this piece from besides going the dealer route? Tore it up trying to take it off looking for wife's ID card. Thanks in advance.

i don’t think that’s a replaceable part any more. You may have to buy the entire assembly.

I think it’s made from unobtainium…. Best not to drop anything in there…

and if you do drop something in there, remove the entire console. Plenty of us have learned this the hard way.

I bought one of those car seat gap fillers, which has a slit intended for the seat belt receptacle. It happens to fit perfectly over the parking break and prevents anything from falling into that gap under the parking brake.

You are fooked. BTDT. You have to buy a complete new console and swap everything over. It’s a very long job.
