Am I seeing correctly that you removed the LOD emblem from the front of your bumper? I do like the looks of the LOD stubby and the price but I really don't like being a driving advertisement. How difficult was it to remove the emblem? glue? rivets?
I feel the same...the poison spyder one looks less "in your face" with their logo. You could always paint the LOD one though.

I didn't remove it. It is behind the license plate.
I'm curious myself as to how that emblem is attached... I ordered a full-width LoD about a week ago & I'm just noticing it. I'm with @Arkewn & I don't want to be a rolling ad, even though it seems inconspicuous...Jeep emblems are good enough. NC is rear-plate only, so I don't get to cover up.

Where did you get those sway bar link disconnects?!?!?! I can't find them anywhere. How the heck are they designed for the passenger side? You can't get the bottom part out without removing the bolt.

Nice rig btw :) Sahara right? Why did you go with the all time 4WD option? Just curious. I have an aluminum Barricade bumper and RC winch sitting in my garage patiently waiting for me.

I have a somewhat wonky close up shot of it that I took when taking a picture of the skid plate. Maybe this will answer your question.

Wonky... I like the scientific term ... They look like rivets from down here... hopefully not difficult to pull.

That answers my question... many thank-yous again.:like:

Maybe Plastidip the emblem? At least it wouldn’t stick out.

I hadn't considered it but I just might... I'd be hesitant to try to rip out a couple of rivets & risk damaging an expensive piece of steel. Thank you for the advice...

With any luck it’d give it a “stealth” look. Which, IMO, would be pretty cool. I’ve got the LoD signature series sitting in my garage waiting for a Jeep to put it on. I’ll be giving it a shot when I mount it.

I'm hesitant to (try to) yank off rivets... I'll give the stealth look a shot. I hope you're getting that jeep soon...I'd like to see the finished product here!

Mine is sitting at the dealer right now. No end in sight. Hopefully there will be resolution sooner rather than later.

Sure looks like you could drill the rivets and remove the emblem leaving just 2 small holes which could be acceptable.

I'm now between this LOD bumper (I like the skid plate option on these), DV8 FS-13, Hansen Bumpers (no mfg markings at all shown), and Poison Spyder (saw one of these on a JK this summer and the finish was very nice).

Thanks for the close up!

It took a couple weeks, but I finally received bumper & skid plate... By far, the most satisfying work I've done on this thing. Removing the dang fog light wiring was a bit of a pain in the ass since I had to pretty much remove what felt like 70 small bolts & plastic fasteners, clip the wire ties, & dissect the factory plastic bumper to surgically remove the wiring. @UNC Rubicon … great call on the Plasti-Dip.... Any progress with taking delivery?

@MALL R8D … thank you for the selection help...well done.

@Arkewn you might be right about drilling the rivets... I haven't tried yet since I'm still recovering from the physical toll of this and assembling the TopLift in a span of 2 days with golf rounds in between... but I will. Yes, the nipple rings are orange... I have a red pair, but I wanted something different since there's just so much red on this thing.
