I finally found a route for the wires I liked and since I haven’t seen anything posted about running the wires this way I figured I should share it.
I took the grill off and cut two small holes in the honeycomb grill inserts and ran the wires thru the grill behind the winch. There is a small tube that runs from the front of the grill to under the air box. Take the air box out and separate that tube and feed the wires thru it. Close up the tube and run the wires up towards the battery. Once you have the wires ran up towards the battery You can reinstall the grill and the air box. Add the wires to the battery and you are done. The wires are completely protected and away from the frame and any heat source.
