I had a crazy dream I bolted 4 bike forks to the rear for a vertical hanging of the bikes. Unfortunately I woke up before I saw how the lower was secured.

Need to put large fishing kayaks up there. Would be nice to able to bolt a couple cross bars (Yakima round work great and easy to mount) across the top of the basket so the kayaks sit on top of the basket.

Kayak mounts are in the works! Not likely to be available with the first round of accessories, but soon after.

Really want to see the rack with the floor flipped to clear the sky one.
Hoping for an attachable wind fairing in the front if the rack has to be 8”
What if it was assembled as shown could a few of the floor panels in the front be removed and sky one maybe open 1/2 way.

Another MFG says they close but I want to see LOD’s solution first.

A popular one for the Jk, but a mount on the bar would be great in the back for camping/cooking

If we are taking about the same guy, The other manufacturer has been close since April for a sky one touch top, and once they come out with it, their production time is 8-12 weeks after payment.
Sigh.

Edit: have you guys confirmed it will work with the 1 touch top?

We are still currently still checking to see if it will clear with all of the cross members in on the rack, we do know it will work if some of the cross members were removed.
