Just like Thinman said, the rubber bumpers (both of them) should be making contact with the door 6-8" open. That way they compress like shown in the pic above. Also, the striker bar should be making contact with the white piece when the door is 6-8" open.
Readjusted per your instructions and no rattling. You guys rock - got my rig wrapped with LOD bumpers/sliders and couldn’t be happier. Thanks to Thinman as well for pics. Appreciate everyone taking the time to help troubleshoot.

Another vote for the LOD rear bumper! I have the shorty and love it! I also have the front destroyer stubby and the rock sliders. All great products!

Reviving an old thread...did anybody buy the Warn bumper with the tire carrier option and add the tire carrier at a later date> Can a 37" tire fit on the stock spare mount with the bumper?
