I haven’t ever seen or heard of LOD until this weekend as I was doing some research for a new rear bumper and tire carrier. I have seen the Warn elite series and liked the look and style. However when I stumbled across LOD it looks as they are more versatile and have more options. What are the big dislikes for the LOD destroyer bumper and tire carrier? I noticed one major difference between the two is that the warn allows the use of the installed tow mount and electrical where the LOD has a welded mount but I can’t figure out the wiring. Anyone have experience with this. Both look like great bumpers and are close to the same cost. Help me spend my money and give me the reasons you like or dislike either .

I don't have either. But I have been eyeballing the LoD since day one.. I've just never really liked the size of the bumper itself, it seems too tall, overly bulky, to put on my unlifted 2 door. It truly does resemble the hull of the Navy warship they've named it after. But the options are top tier, no one else even comes close. So spent/wasted a lot of time looking at the nicer looking bumpers, none of which have all the accessory mount flexibility. I'm not a fabricator nor do I know one, but if you were/did, you could save a ton by getting that Warn then making up whatever mounts you wanted for the gear you prefer to take. I'll probably just end up w/ the LoD after all. :time:

Btw it bothers me enough that I have considered buying it, then grafting the tire carrier to a better bumper, then selling the plain LoD bumper alone minus the carrier. :movember:

We are wrapping up a big build with the LoD stubby rear bumper with tire carrier. The folks at LoD have it figured out. It’s excellent and we opted for a ton of the options to really fit this Jeep.

I have the LOD destroyer rear bumper, and i do believe it is a great investment for rear protection and a great tire carrier. The trailer wiring from the stock bumper attaches in the same location with a great steel mounting bracket.

Can show me how you have your Antenna mounted?I have a Yaesu ATAS-120 currently on my stock spare tire carrier. I am wondering how I can attach it if I got an LOD bumper.

Does the mounting bracket for the trailer come with the bumper or is it something you have to get separate? I didn’t see that as an accessory

Well I went ahead and just went with the Destroyer full width. With horizontal hi lift mounts camera relocation, standard tag relocation and light. Couldn’t pass on10% off and the flexibility. It looks good enough with the extra flexibility over the warn

Is the paint on the bumper a smooth black finish or does it have some texture to it? Thanks
