Locking Lugnut Key Replacement and Dealership Confusion

So back in early January I installed a tailgate hinge reinfircemant kit which required spare tire removal. I had to pull out some interior pieces and didn't notice that my lugnut key had fell down into the jack area. I didn't realize that it had and this past weekend I planned to rotate tires and can't find the key. Anyway I called the dealership service dept to get information about a key code since my code is long gone. Asked if they documented the codes on new Jeeps since its a dealer installed item. Easy question right? Long story short, the service writer was useless and was basically just not listening. Found the answer through the parts dept. They keep a master set of locking lugnut keys and can match your's to order a new key.
