Id love to see what bs response you get with this, bastards still have my order on D with TBDI agree. I am so grateful for the community that we have built here-by all of you sharing your experiences, we can call them on their BS. The two things that make me the most angry are 1.) that FCA has been so secretive and unwilling to communicate with its customers, and 2.) when they do communicate, it's incorrect, inconsistent and untruthful. Here is my latest round on the merry-go-round:![]()

Dear James,
This is a courtesy email response with regards to your 2018 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon order.
I have had an opportunity to review your vehicle order status and the information provided in our prior email remains unchanged. At this time all models equipped with the Premium Sunrider Soft Top are being scheduled based on the order they were received in our system.
I will continue to track your vehicle order and provide you any updates as they become available.
We appreciate your patience as we launch this exciting new product.
Sincerely,
Jeff

Jeff,
I ordered mine 2 days after order banks for 2 doors opened up-I should be near the beginning of the line. Others on the forum I follow have made it to D1 with order dates after me. Please escalate this.

Dear James,
Thank you for your response.
I can certainly understand your feedback with regards to the timing of your order placement and do appreciate the time taken to reach out to us further.
Please keep in mind, 2-door production of the 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL did not begin until mid-April with vehicles equipped with the Sunrider Soft Top estimated to begin mid to late May. Please keep in mind, all factory order timing is only an estimate - not a promise or guarantee. Factory production is subject to change.
With that being said, please be assured every effort is being made to build these model vehicles with the same high quality standards of FCA once all materials are available for factory production.
As promised, I will continue to monitor your file order and provide updates as they do become available.
We appreciate your patience as we launch this exciting new product.
Sincerely,
Jeff

Hello Jeff,
Checking in again because the info provided by you and others in customer service is never consistent.
You stated in one of your responses below:
"At this time all models equipped with the Premium Sunrider Soft Top are being scheduled based on the order they were received in our system."
Also, I know for a fact that 2-door orders with premium soft tops began on 5/14/2018. Not:
"...vehicles equipped with the Sunrider Soft Top estimated to begin mid to late May”
which you stated yesterday (5/16/2018)
I am on an online forum with many people sharing their experiences along the way through this process. The following is just one example of a 2-door with PST, ordered 35 days after mine, yet I still have not been scheduled for production? Please explain this.
2 Door Rubicon
Granite Crystal, Auto, Premium Soft Top, Cold Weather, Infotainment, LEDs, Tow, Cloth, Proximity, Body Color Fenders
Ordered 1/11/18
Status:
D 1/12/18
D1 5/14/18
E 5/15/18
JS 5/16/18

I'll post it if I ever receive one-so far...crickets.Id love to see what bs response you get with this, bastards still have my order on D with TBD
You are not alone: ordered the safety package too! Big fan of Blindspot Monitoring. While I try to not rely on it, it gives me peace of mind (and a few helpful warnings) in busy city traffic, particularly when cyclists sometimes move in ways that can be hard to predict.Scott, I don’t think you left anything out of your order! I’m glad to see someone else getting the safety package. I was worried I was the only one, and I would end up leaving pieces of it somewhere in the dirt.
OK, please forgive my ignorance, but I’ve got to ask...Excellent, great to see a Rubicon with PST moving forward. You ordered yours after mine, but order date does not seem to dictate when our Jeeps are getting built.
Congrats, I hope yours gets built and delivered quickly.

Premium Soft TopOK, please forgive my ignorance, but I’ve got to ask...
I thought that PST meant Power Soft Top? But I also thought that this option was only available on 4-doors, so I’m surprised to see PST mentions pop up multiple times in a 2-door thread. Does PST mean something else, or is the power top actually available for 2-doors?
Thanks in advance for enlightening me!![]()
Sending positive vibes galore to you and Vida!Hello my unicorn Jeep peeps...
Today did not go as planned. Vida is spending the night at the dealer. I have an appointment tomorrow afternoon working directly with the sales manager to hopefully get things settled. Fingers crossed. Happy thoughts. Positive vibes. Send them all our way, please & thanks.

It's not outside reason that you wouldn't think of the premium soft top because why would a slightly better material for a top hold up so many peoples 40-50K orders, right?!Aaaahhh... That makes a lot more sense!
Thank you!!![]()
True that! It's not outside reason that you wouldn't think of the premium soft top because why would a slightly better material for a top hold up so many peoples 40-50K orders, right?!
I did play around with it and it's much better now. I still wish Bluetooth didn't degrade the audio so much. I'll keep tinkering with itI was at the dealer today checking in out(in a 4 door) and id agree the bass as is was meh. I went into the settings and pushed it up, put a heavy bass song on and it hit pretty darn good. Did you happen turn the bass up in settings? Maybe 4 door vs 2 has different subs then since the 4 door its on the side.
there’s no way around it - bluetooth is compressing your audio and then decompressing at other end, versus an analog signal over a wire. it’s always gonna be “lossy compression” unless you do bluetooth audio on a laptop or computer and use advanced audio controls...you could ping uconnect support and ask about support for the “SBC codec” (advanced audio distribution profile)...read about this after you posted, and have same concerns - bluetooth is super convenient but the audio quality is real...I did play around with it and it's much better now. I still wish Bluetooth didn't degrade the audio so much. I'll keep tinkering with it
