3M Protective Film

I've seen several posts on wrapping areas of the exterior with 3M film. I have not used protective film before. What areas are recommended to cover?
Does it hold up with washing,etc?

Just had mine wrapped with Xpel similar to 3m, I had the grill, hood and windshield frame covered, don't have painted fenders. I've used this installer before and he does excellent work I would show you a picture but you would not be able to see anything.

My Ford Flex had it on the whole front end. It is extremely durable. My JL came with it on one rear fender, so I put it on the other one. I also wrapped the door hinges.

Paint Protection Film is a very common modification and very often the first mod to do. Check out this video of the JLU Rubi we wrapped for Jeep Jamboree this year, it might give you a better idea of the process and what areas to protect.

Typically you will want to protect the high impact areas, this includes the front end, fender flares, and lower parts of the doors sometimes too.
