Local Dealer Lot equals 0 Wranglers but 24 Gladiators

Around here, the dealers are quick to add a vehicle (even one in transit still) and slow to remove. They just want to get you in the door to sell you something else. I must have called half a dozen dealers that had listed 4xe's and not one was actually still there.

You're right. After I sorted them I went and looked and only 1 out of the 8 Gladiators is actually on the lot, rest are all "on-order"

I noticed that when I was looking into *possibly* selling my JLUR for a profit, i couldn't get into anything else without spending what I would get from Vroom trade plus $5k. The only way to do the deal and make money (i.e. reduce payment) would be to go for a JT, as they're priced roughly $5-7k below Wranglers, or at least they were in the crazy used car market.

There's quite a few Jeep dealers here in Nassau County. I live within range of the majority of them and all have very little stock on their lots.

Port Jeff slimmed down. They only have 2 Sports, a 4 door and a 2 door. It's the 1st time I've seen a long Island dealer order a 2 door for lot inventory. There wasn't a customer name on the window sticker. They also had a 3 JT's. A Rubicon, Mojave, and Willys. Guy at the sales desk said that another dealer order was expected in 4-6 weeks from now. It'll include 6 392's.

Whoa, didn't day they weren't a real jeep, just butt ugly.

Yeah stock gladiators are hideous imo however can easily be transformed into a sick ride w lift and 35’s

We've been traveling in our RV since April 1st from FL to Oregon then up to NY now in Indiana headed south again. Every place we stop I check in at the Jeep dealer to see what they have. Consistently finding little or no JL"s but always JT's, usually quite a few.

I'm in a small MT town, so numbers are likely relative. But until this past week my local dealer hasn't had a single 4-door Wrangler on the lot since late April when I bought the last one there. They had two on the lot then...a 3.6 that was accounted for, and a 2.0T which is now mine. They had six Gladiators at the time, the last of which finally disappeared a few weeks ago. About that time, they got in three 2-door Wranglers, there is one left. This past week they got a single 4-door Wrangler and it's already gone. I drive by the place daily on my way to/from work and their lot is basically barren...the one 2-door, a couple Renegades, a couple random Dodge SUVs and two or three heavy duty trucks. This is rural-ish MT...there are usually 30+ heavy duty trucks alone, along with a dozen assorted Wranglers and Gladiators and many more commuter-types. Again, small town...I know these folks, have for decades...I hope they can last.
