I have a sport with the upgraded rear axle that they refer to as anti slip. Its worked great but I was wondering how it works compared to limited slip difs. I had always heard with a limited slip that when on a vehicle lift, rotating one wheel by hand will cause the other to rotate the same direction. The anti slip difs rotate as if they were open though. Any ideas?

You heard incorrectly. Anti slip is limited slip, and you need torque to cause the clutches to work. Simply spinning it by hand is not enough.

Thanks makes sense. I've driven it in the snow and it definitely doesnt handle like an open dif. :like:
