Wife really wants a Tuscadero Rubicon with xtreme recon package etc.

I had planned on waiting to order her a 2023 as I was betting on a refresh.

Still kind of new to the Jeep world so do I need to order now if I really want Tuscadero Pink? Or will that color be around for a while?

Thanks

I’d order within 6 months. There’s no guarantee how long it will be around. One day it will just be unavailable.

Not sure we can expect much in the way of a refresh. Maybe the new Uconnect, there were not too many refreshes in the JK run. One interior refresh and a switch to the 3.6L were the biggest changes I can think of.

Was hoping for larger Touchscreen and maybe wireless charger, but not a huge deal.

if your wife is dead set on a color like Tuscadero, then order it ASAP. Jeep typically puts colors out like these once a model and typically for 6 months or less.

Unlikely it'll be around for long. Not listed as "limited edition" as Gecko Green is, but Jeep has a revolving door of colors...

Neither of these are likely tbh. If definitely go ahead and order.

If you’re always waiting for the latest and greatest, you’ll never get anything. As stated above, the more radical colors are very short lived. Get it while you can. I seriously doubt there will be any major changes for 2023.

Here's a screenshot my dealer shared from his allocation call, which shows the color as Limited Edition:

We placed an order the day it became available, and a VIN was assigned today.

I doubt that color will be around for the 2022. If you wife wants that color, I would order in the next few weeks and expect a delivery late 2021.

Thanks for the info. Guess who is Tuscadero Rubicon Shopping Today!

I also get the color isn’t for everyone, but soon we are moving to a beach town in Florida and this will be perfect with all the pink flamingos!

I think jeeps gonna start being proactive. They had no competition and got lazy. Now that the Broncos in town we’re gonna benefit so much from them fighting.
