Any reason why you decided not to use any longer? I was looking at one myself...the chrome pipe with the completely open air filter from K&N.

I think that model you are thinking about is the worst possible option. The metal pipe will absorb more heat and it will offer no protection from water. The 63 AirCharger I have here is much safer and sounds better while absorbing less heat. The only reason I took it off was because I decided to install the Mopar JPP Snorkel.
