I have been trying to do some research on lightweight 35x12.5x17 MT tires for my JLU. It will primarily be daily driven on pavement but hope to soon start getting off-road some. I have narrowed my choices down based on weight listed on the mfg.’s website and reviews I have found online. If anyone has owed these, could you please chime in on noise and wear? I am leaning toward the Deegan or Extreme Country. Are there others I should be looking at?

I use my jeep as a daily driver and love my Nitto ridge grapplers!!! Very quite and smooth on the road. Did not notice a decrease in gas mileage either.

That is what I originally was looking at, but they are HEAVY. Almost 10 lbs a tire more.

I would not recommend 35" M/T tires on 3.45 gears as an every day driver. Stick with XL 33" A/T tires and be happy you did! There are charts available for compatibility of tires and gearing needed for proper torque.
