I currently run heavy ass Mopar bead locks with ridiculously heavy 37” Nitto Ridge Grappler’s and looking for the lightest possible set up to run as a spare. I obviously don’t care about matching as this is just an emergency spare. We do a lot of camping and long distance wheeling trips so a full spare is a must. I don’t want get stuck on the side of the road with my wife and kids or on the trails and have to leave my rig because I’m not prepared. Any recommendation is greatly appreciated.

Probably a stock Rubicon wheel (23lbs) and a 37” KO2 (69lbs) is as light as you will find.

37 inch mastercraft mxt’s are listed at 70 per tire. Mine weighed 69 if you’re looking for a light mud tire.

I guess the weight is the most important because it’s strictly a get me home spare. So maybe I’ll use one of my stock Rubicon wheels with a Mastercraft or Ko2

What’s wrong with using the stock spare to get home?
How many times have you actually had a flat and had to use the spare to get home?
If you have a Rubicon and flats on the rear leave the diff unlocked no problem.
If you have a limited slip in the rear and flat tire you put a front tire on the rear put the spare on the front and drive home no problem.
