Hey all, new JLU Sport owner here. Been doing a lot of research on the idea of doing a lift and bigger tires from my stock set. Setting a lot of pros and cons.

As for my situation, looks is my primary reason, and offroading is desired, but secondary (current life doesn't give me too much opportunity).

I wasn't looking for anything TOO showy, but something to stand out a bit. I read that the bigger you go, the more wear and tear you get. I was thinking 33's with a 2.5" lift. I was hoping I didn't have to go so far that I'd have to get bigger brakes, regear, etc.

Anyone ito there have some sound advise? FYI this Jeep is also being used as the family car.

Thanks!

Your can put 33's on a Sport with out a lift. I put Rubicon take offs on my 2 door Sport S. The Rubicon tires are nearly 33 in.

Second the above, most 17” wheels will work from -12 to +12 offset with no mods needed. Check out the wheels/tires forum there is a long thread covering this with lots of good ideas.

Thanks! If I get 33s, will I need to mod anything else?
I'm by far no expert, but just telling you what I have done. I have not any other mods to accommodate the Rubicon Wheels/Tires.
