Hello everyone, I'm eventually looking to upgrade some things on my JLU Sahara and need some advice. I want to get a 2.5 inch lift, 18 inch wheels, and 35 inch tires. My Jeep is mostly going to be used for highway driving (I know, sacreligious). The only "off-roading" I'll be doing is the occasional charity Jeep Run, so basically rough backroads, gravel, and dirt tracks. I've been researching a lot trying to decide which lift kit will fit my needs. Basically I'm looking for pretty much a stock-feeling ride or a more "sporty" ride if that makes sense. Here's the 2 kits I'm looking at right now:

1.) Rough Country 2.5 Inch Suspension Lift [not the budget boost one] and a Rough Country N3 Dual Steering Stabilizer

2.) Teraflex 2.5 Inch Performance Spacer Lift with Falcon 2.1 Monotube Shocks and Falcon Nexus EF 2.1 Steering Stabilizer

I'm gonna assume someone will say the steering stabilizers will be a little overkill for my needs, but that ties into that "sporty" feel I'm looking for, I like tight steering.

I'll also be adding a little extra weight down the road with front and rear steel bumpers.

Any help is appreciated, I'm definitely not an expert in this field. And if someone wants to suggest a third option I'm all ears (just no budget boosts, unless combined with some nice shocks).

Thanks in advance!

Can’t help you on the lift as I have a Rubicon and so far I’ve not found a need for a lift But I do have the Nexus adjustable steering stabilizer and all I can tell you is that it is great. I had adjustable steering on my grand Cherokee Overland and this sort of mimics that. You will not be disappointed if you get the adjustable nexus. It is so much better than the stock stabilizer.
