I’m waiting on getting my first monthly bill on charging my 4xe for the first month. I plug it in daily. I will be getting a level 2 installed next week. Just wondering what everybody has come arcross. Which is really cheaper to use. Level 1 at 16 hours or level 2 at 2.30 to charge. I love my Sahara hydro blue 4XE. It has lived up to all I wanted. Living my dream really. Thank you

The only difference in electrical bills will come from Time Of Use. If you have TOU with your power company, then using a level 2 charger and scheduling the charge to happen at the cheaper hours is best. If you are not TOU, then there should be zero difference.

My PG&E TOU is from 4pm to 9pm, during this time my rates can be double during the summer months. I have a bunch of home automation setup to turn as much off as possible during this time frame, such as water heater, pool pump, HVAC, etc... And I have my Level 2 charger set to not charge during this timeframe as well.
