Use a french press at home, but outside, any type of pour over for the non-existent clean-up requirements.

Have a bunch of these right now

Local gun shop here deals black rifle coffee. once they get a shipment in its gone quickly. anymore hes just taking orders for people directly lol cant keep it anywhere

I'm on the BRCC ECS list and get two random bags a month its the only way to do it!

Being at home I like to make coffee up to my daily mood. Like today I want french press, tomorrow it'll be pour over. While traveling I use my pour over travel mug.

You could look at this portable coffee machine as an alternative:

It's an portable coffee maker on a battery. You can recharge it and take it anywhere you like.

The machine is from the brand Caffe2go

My best compromise for camping coffee is VIA coffee. I use a Jetboil to heat it. It's not as good as what I brew at home (fresh ground beans from a good location, good quality brewer) but is the best compromise I've come up with for quick on the trail coffee. There are several companies that make it, and it's not all the same. Large grocery stores carry it, starbucks carries it, costco carries it. Buy a box and see if you like it before you invest in the jetboil stove. I can make it quick enough to enjoy on a break, as well as a brew while camping.
Hey, Agree with that. Costco's is cheaper. And it depends on how and where you store it. A coffee canister is a best option

I still use a drip coffee maker at camp. I do carry a percolator pot also for back up. We use BRC Simple Smooth.

This GSI french press, Halulite 1.8L boiler, and an MSR Pocketrocket 2 combination makes a great cup of coffee. The MSR stove and canister fits inside the boiler so it’s relatively compact and very light. (It’s going in my backpack too.)

I need to try out moving over to grinding my own to make it coarser but the very fine and small amount that makes it past the seal is akin to whats at the bottom of a cup of hot cocoa. I can live with it.

This is what I am using at home and camping. Sturdy and makes a great espresso. Never knew it existed until I was tired of waiting for the espresso machine to heat up for one cup of coffee. With a little research it was a great find. The wife won’t get coffee at any of the main locations anymore.

I had a TON of those VIA sleeves in my cupboard that's had forgotten about (bought for backpacking). All expired. I decided to use them before buying more coffee. They were perfectly fine. I was surprised.

I’ve been using GSI’s Java Press. It makes plenty of coffee for my wife and I. I have a hand grinder to go with it. I prefer having an Americano in the morning but getting the grind right is a PITA at times so I just go with the 2nd best method.

The thing is, because espressos have about half the caffeine of a cup of coffee, I can drink a lot more Americanos than brewed coffee. I like to have 4-5 cups in a day. When camping I have to keep it down to two or I get really wired up.

I picked up one of these Coleman propane powered drip coffee makers, it runs off the one pound bottles.
I haven’t camped with it yet but the home test proved impressive.

I thought about buying one of these as I like drip coffee makers. Currently I am using an electric one with a Jackery.

An electric drip coffee maker hooked to a Jackery. I can make about 8 pots of coffee before needing to charge the Jackery.

Coffee of the day was Firehouse Bourbon and cherry infused coffee.
