This is the picture that sold me on ordering black. I can wrap it any color I want, but black will always be a classic color. And I believe this vehicle has a good chance at becoming a future classic. I love sting grey, but not in all lighting conditions. Sarge is cool, but maybe a little too tacticool. As a USMC infantryman vet, I'd love a matte olive drab. To my eyes, sarge wasn't really od green. The bright colors, I don't really like or understand. White rubicons are beautiful, especially with black accents, but a little too flashy for me. Jeep's black is pretty boring, there's no flake or anything interesting about it unfortunately. But I always dreamed about a blacked out rubicon. I hope to find a wrap in deep midnight blue that looks black until you get close. I saw a g wagon like that, stopped me in my tracks. Anyway, I would take a pink jeep if I had to, choosing a color is just the icing on the cake.
I wanted sarge but like you said its to bright with direct light, I honestly didn't think I would like the color variation of the sting gray color but I absolutely love it.

37" KO2s sitting above a MetalCloak Game Changer 3.5" lift which added about 2.5" lift above OEM 392 suspension.

Forgot to ever add my 392 pics with the 35's, so here goes if anyone's interested.

These are my 315/70 r17 Nitto Trail Grapplers mounted on 17x9 KMC KM101 -12 offset (4.5 inch backspacing) Wheels in satin black with bronze accent bolts to tie into the bronze 392 accents.

No lift, completely stock suspension.

This combo is net zero weight gain (compared to OEM) which is kinda cool.

Also teraflex spare carrier and hinge, MC front lower control arms to dial in caster. Warn and Baja light. Actually added a .25 MC spacer on top of the coils, to offset the very slight (measured at .25) sag from the winch addition, probably completely unnecessary.

Tazer for setting tire size. I got a little spooked on the way home with flashing ABS and Brake lights on the dash whenever I leaned into the brakes at full stop. Turns out it’s a tazer feature for brake-hold. Nice..

Im kind of happy here on 35s, keeping it light and stockish. Good set up for a daily driver and occasional weekend wheeler. Can’t imagine needing to regear it whatsoever at this point. Skids are next.

Wrapped up a 392 last week with some tuned Fox 2.5 Performance Elite Series shocks, Accutune 3" front springs, 1.5" rear with a 1" spacer to help with the added bumper weight. The Jeep already had Metalcloak arms and track bars on it and 37" Nittos. Note: JL front upper control arms will not work on a 392 due to the motor mounts hanging down lower... unless you want to limit your up travel quite a bit or make some modifications to the engine mounts. We opted to re use stock upper control arms for the time being. The Jeep drives spectacular! Smooth, sporty, yet planted and controlled with all that power. These Jeeps are awesome 😎

Hey @AccuTunedJL, did you drive this stock before you upgraded the control arms, shocks, etc? mine is currently all stock and I LOVE the way it rides. I had a 19 JLUR manual transmission and this one rides exponentially better. Did the upgrades change the ride much?

Great thread. I found it interesting that some of those pics were not lifted.

I’m running Teraflex Performance Bumpstops all the way around, 2inch metal cloak bumpstop extenders in the rear and 3/4 inch fishbone spring spacer all the way around.

37x12.50STT pros with stock wheels. 3/4inch spidertraxx wheel spacers. Everything clears really well with this setup and it drives/handles great!!!

Yes we did. With the added weight in the rear, it was very squishy and a bit sloppy. The new tuned shocks helped a lot. More control, smoother ride over bumps and dips.
