Picked up my first Jeep on 1/20/20. Something I have always wanted. I hate snow so if I have to live with the stuff I might as well have a fun Jeep to rip around in. But I'm sure looking forward to warm weather Jeep life.

I finally bought my first Wrangler! Here's my 2019 Sport S in Sting Gray. I've had it since November '19 and I love it! Saving up now for the 2" Mopar lift and 33-34" tires. Leaning towards the Nitto Ridge Grapplers 285/75r17.

I think the Sport S is a great platform to start with. Especially as a daily driver.

I wanted to keep stock to keep the on road performance this time. Fail.

I have driven the Sport and think they are even quicker and better handling on the road. But that's not why we buy them I suppose.

Look forward to your after pictures Davo. Be sure to post them up!

Welcome to the fold! I'd put the lift on before you decide on tires. The Mopar will lift a Sport a lot more than 2" and 33/34s will look small. If I were you (and I was at one point) I'd be looking at a Rubi take-off suspension and KO2 tires. Both are cheap and look right together. Here's my previous Jeep with that set-up:

Thanks Gary! It's definitely sporty enough for my daily driver and I'm looking forward to getting it out on some trails.

Excited to be a part of this community and I will definitely share my journey as I watch all of you on yours in return. Cheers!

I've seen that very point on other threads. That the Mopar lift is based off the Rubicon platform (suspension) and when applied to a Sport/Sahara it gives more than 2". I agree with you and will keep that in mind. I prefer the look of the 35s and up personally but if I go that big, I'd like to re-gear for better performance. Additionally, I'm also playing that warranty game so the Mopar 2" fit that play style. Otherwise I'd prefer to do everything myself with much more selection out there.

So excited to finally be a part of the 2-Door Crew! Literally have waited 20+ years to purchase my first Jeep Wrangler. Picked “LuPita” up last week and can’t be any happier! Excited for the adventures, the top being off and the Jeep waves!

Hey Boatbuilder88! Thanks for the compliments! The tires are BF Goodrich K/02s (Rubicon take-offs) sitting at 285/70/R17. They look pretty sweet if I may say so myself!:like:
