Looks great man, how’s the d44s holding up with the 40s ?
Interested to hear this as well. After swapping my springs to 3.5's and adding a spacer in the rear I've been thinking about re-gearing and doing some work on the stock Dana 44's to prep for 40's.

doing great. I have upgraded the axle shafts with Dana Chromoly and 1350 u-joints. 5,38 gears. Upgraded ball joints as well.

to fit 40’s some trimming needed to happen.

Last day for the Toyo MT. Love the look but the noise is starting to annoy me.

Can you share what you had to trim?

to fit the 40’s with my MC 3.5 lift. First the Rubicon rock rails needed to be trimmed about 3 inches on both sides. This can be done very easily and will look great after it’s done. Next the rear wheel wheel I needed to trim in front and rear of the tire. About 2 inches on both sides. On the front side just trim the seem as much as you can up to the tub. There are threads on here on how to do it. Let me know if you have more questions. I did need to add more bump stop so the tires didn’t rub at full stuff as well.

"What do you plan on next to kill the noise?"

No plans, but that does not mean I won't change something. That is one of the things I really enjoy about the Wrangler, being able to customize it to make it what I want. I can appreciate skinny tires and steel wheels, 40 inch tires and a lot of lift, and the mild AT tires with a 2 inch lift. They are all still Jeeps.
When I picked up mine with the 315/70/17 KO2's today, my first impression was the look lost a little with the Toyo MT's gone. Then I drove it home and felt the noise was less, the ride better, and I enjoyed being behind the wheel a little more. I honestly have no idea what I might try six months from now. Regardless, it will be something I like and it will still be a Wrangler :).

Used to have 40's on it but the previous owner traded it with 37's. I just need to find another set of 40's to go back on it :)

2.5 MC true dual rate on 35" KO2's.

Bad picture, but it has snowed nearly every day since getting it done.
