Can you explain some more? Headlights on? Engine running? For how long? Moving or parked? Lights on fenders on or off? A picture needs a back story.
Troybilt, I started the jeep at around 7pm or 8pm (after sunset) , headlights auto-on, drove about 10 miniutes and took a few the thermal images. Thermal camera is +/- 2F. Radiator was only 138F indicating I didn’t drive it for too much time. My LEDs are too hot based on the experiences in this thread.

:cwl: Well there was about 17 1/2 pages of people pretty much just calling each other stupid.

My LEDs are actually too hot. Maybe I should start a new thread. BTW, 47F outside.
:like: Interesting! I'd like to see your findings when the ambient temperature is well below freezing. Not poking, would really like to see.

And yet there are almost 300 replies. It just won't die!!!
This is nothing. Look up the old “ keyless entry on a sport “ thread. It still pops up sometimes!

Look on the bright side... People won't be complaining that your lights are too bright and blinding them... :)

Heat is the enemy of LEDs... That is one of the concerns that I have with the aftermarket replacement bulbs that I bought for my headlights since they have a fan attached to the heatsink and that entire mechanism is sealed inside the JL's headlight assembly.
“Look on the bright side...” (no pun intended I’m sure)

Reading this makes me love my basic Sport even more since I didn’t even have the option of paying $900 for snow-darkened head lights.

Here's a novel concept: Brush the snow off your lights, front and rear, before heading out. Sheesh!
The real novel concept would be to, once you’re finished cleaning your headlights, to dial up Mother Nature and tell her to turn off the snow while you’re driving.
