LED’s but no safety package?

Artec Industries is incorporating sensor holes in some of their rear JL bumpers. One photo shows the unpainted bumper with 4 drilled holes for the sensors. They commented about the sensor wiring harness being compatible with the bumper.

The only sensors are in the tail lights. Not in the bumpers...

Budagreg: you are mistaken...the sensors in the taillights are for the blind spot cross-traffic system. The 'button' sensors in the rear bumper are for the premium back up system that is used along with the backup camera.

Has anyone seen a picture of the LED tailights without the safety package. Do they look the same as with the safety package just don't have the sensors installed?

Looks like a rock magnet to me. I plan on hitting the Rubicon trail in July and I can see that being scraped off on the first tight spot

Are you sure that the tail light photos are for the non-safety package? They appear to have the same bulge out the sides. Is it possible that Jeep decided to use the same light housing but doesn't put the radar in the housing?

Yes, they appear to be the same housings with or without the Safety Group.

yes I ordered with LEDs but no safety package. suspect they’re saving money using same housing for both.
