I have found that my rear window (hardtop) leaks where the washer fluid tube goes through the glass. I found that I could hand-tighten the nut a quarter turn; I’m not yet sure that has cured the problem. My Jeep dealership told me to drop it off FOR THREE DAYS (with loaner vehicle) to diagnose and correct the issue.

Has anyone else experienced this? If so, what was your solution? I have not disassembled it yet. I have an O-ring kit (various sizes) that I can use if it’s an O-ring issue. Honestly, I’m not sure I want to leave it at the dealership for three days if it’s easily fixable at my end. Torquing a nut on glass does worry me, however.

Hi Wabujitsu,

Sorry to hear of the concern you are experiencing! If you decide to move forward with having your dealer address this, please let us know via private message. We would be happy to have this documented and provide you with an additional layer of assistance during that process.
