Id look into the karnage welder
That thing is also cool. I’ve never seen either one deployed on the trail, but I love the idea of being able to fix a break on the trail.

I’m pretty sure I’m the world’s crappiest welder, and practice doesn’t seem to be helping much, but I think I could stick two things together well enough to get home.

Ive seen the karnage welder used on the trail, its pretty sweet

I was also interested in purchasing it. But according to the price, it's a robbery. Especially if compared with standard 120V welder(list of). How often do you use it?

If you are brave enough you could use two or three car batteries, jumper cables, and stick welding rods..
