Alright, someone who’s good at adding numbers, find out how screwed we’re getting!
Looks like $1900 more for a 4 door Rubicon than latest 2023 pricing and $3395 more than initially released 2023 pricing.

I just added up the MSRP for a Willys 4 door. It looks like this.
Base price - $35895
2.0l with AT - 2500
Willys package - 7500
Hard top - 1495
Conv. Group - 1995
Tech Group - 1295
Total of $50,680
This is not including any paint color other than white and the destination fee is not included either. The convenience group now has the old cold weather package included and the tech group now has the Alpine speaker upgrade. It's getting a little pricey for the Willys, but you now get the locker on the rear, wide axles and the trailer tow in the Willys package. So to me, it's not too terrible of an increase considering the extras that are now added.

If I did my math right, it actually came out very close to what I could price together on the Jeep build site for a 2023 similar model. Not bad!

Was hoping to get Rubicon with leather, 3-piece hardtop, convenience group, safety group, tech group, v6 manual. Comes out to about 57.5k before dest charge.

Thank you for sharing. Will have to maul over this for a minute then get ready to order!
Maul if you must, but be quick about it!

Few observations...no tan or grey seat options? No limited slip options? Do the sport and sport s come with a body colored ,old style grill?

Soon the Sport will cost what I paid for my Rubicon in 2019....dang.
Mm. The 2024 base price is now higher than my modestly configured 2021 (which included the four-figure 850RE option.) Consider also the 392. What started at ~$75K barely two years ago is now within spitting distance of $90K(!) before the first option is added.

It'd be interesting to know how many potential Jeep buyers will be walking away due to price fatigue.

My same early 23 build is about 4K more now. At least this time there’s actually some new items. Still no colors other the HVY and the same old red and blue. Nothing against those colors was just hoping for something more then a new grey.

For a loaded Rubicon prices have increased 15 - 20% in the last two years. Although the appears to be some minor content improvement (power seats, Led headlights), the basic vehicle is unchanged. The value proposition is diminishing…especially considering the numerous quality concerns and forthcoming competition from Toyota. I suspect we’ll see rebates within the next six months as sales have been decreasing.

Kinda weird that any of the 2024 models that have a v6 are ESS, not e-torque. I think in recent years, only the manual had the ESS version and AT was forced e-torque. In other words, relatively few ESS wranglers have been produced over last few years - only the manual wranglers, which are small percentage compared to AT. Sure seemed like the e-torque was favored / forced, and ESS was “old tech.” However, I think all v6 gladiators are ESS.

I suppose this move lets them consolidate on a single v6 engine while still offering a manual trans. Makes sense if that’s the reason. The difference between the two (ESS / e-torque) seems super minor in my experience from a drivers perspective.

One cool thing for the ESS V6 is that all the after market forced induction (Super charger / ie engine popper) options are for the ESS, not the etorque. So those hungry for engine misadventures will have greater opportunity than in past few years. Have fun!

I had a 2018 JLUR ESS (6 speed) and wife has a 2 door Rubi with the e-torque. Kind of apples and oranges given the transmission. But in any case, they seem like equivalent engines overall. Given the choice in an AT..not sure I’d care that it’s ESS / E-torque.

Looks like 3.6 is still available in Rubi trim with Auto trans.
