Ok cool, thanks. I'm trying to decide between 275/70R18 and 285/65R18 on stock Sahara wheels and no lift. I've read 285/70/18 might work as well but I haven't seen any pics of that yet. Seen pics of the first two sizes on stock Sahara.

I have 275/70R18 but I have Rubicon suspension swap. So no, completely stock wouldn’t work.

If I recall from doing this research, 275/70/18 will give you a lot larger tire selection than anything larger. Not saying there aren't larger but the selection starts to get limited.

There are a few 275/70/18 Saharas running around with stock suspension and it does in fact work - I want to say I saw someone go 295/70/18 but I probably wouldn't go any bigger than what you did on stock suspension.

FWIW, I'm stock and will likely go 275/70/18 when the time comes.

At the tire place right now getting my new wheels and tires mounted. Went with black rhino barstows with 315/70/17, only mods are rubicon fender flares. We'll see how it goes....

if you stick with stock suspension you can always swap to rubi fenders for more clearance.

Didn't catch this thread was for stock wheels but regardless everything came out well and no rubbing.

That looks outstanding. I have been eyeing those wheels. Are they the 17x8 30 offset or the 17x9.5 -18 offset? Do you have a shot down the side to show how far the tires stick out?

These are the 17x9.5 -18 offset, Ill take a picture down the side. They do stick out but it isn't as bad as I expected. I much rather would have -12 offset or so to get them to tuck better.

Tire sticks out around 2.75 inches from the flare.

Actually I didn’t change the spare tire. I just purchased a rigid spare tire cover and put that on instead which I think looks pretty decent. Btw I just ordered 285/75R18 Duratracs today and will get them installed in a few days.

This looks really good. No lift correct? Did you have to recalculate speedo? Does it look like you could you have went any bigger in tire size with no rub? THANKS MUCH
