Will tires that stick out past fender flares affect blind spot monitors ?

Tires are in front of the BSM sensors, and those are aimed out and back, so I can’t see how they’d cause a problem

drogers: Sorry, you are mistaken. The Blind Spot system (BSM) radar zone extends as far forward as the door side mirrors (see Pg 217, Owners Manual, 2nd Ed, Rev. 2, 02/04/2018). So the radar sensing 'could' be affected if your super wide tires extend out beyond the sheet medal.
New owners will be able to tell you have far up along side a passing car can move before the warnings shut off. On my Mustang, the blind spot warning extends to my drivers and passenger doors.

I've got 315/70's that do stick out past the flares a bit, and no, it doesn't affect the BSM a bit. In fact, I specifically watched it in action this past weekend.
