I’m building a larger storage cubby for the back of my jeep. I did a muffler delete which makes room for this modification. The stock plastic box has a rubber sealant that makes it hard to remove. I had to buy one of those little Osculating saws to be able to get under the plastic and cut the sealant so I could lift the stock box out. If I wasn’t worried about putting the stock box back in (I needed to put it back in until I got the new box fabricated) I probably could have cut it up and pried it out?
So far I’ve only made up a cardboard template. The company I work for as a side job just ordered a CNC plasma table which is going to make this super easy to build. I was going to work with my neighbor who has a CNC plasma table but he wasn’t really interested in helping me out on this project.
I know that there’s some people on here that have been waiting for someone to come out with these for sale. Since nobody else has stepped up I will make some extras.

see post 64 to see what I finally built. Decided not to build anymore of them as it’s a pain in the butt.
