Green Jeep Rubi gone today. Replaced with Yellow, which I think is the new "Nacho" but don't hold me to it. Jeep rep said base price of Rubi JLU will be somewhere between $3,000 and $4,000 more than '18 JK Rubi. Anyone can confirm that? Sahara is about $2500 more as was stated by others on here.

Nacho is more orange, literally like melted nacho cheese. I dig this bright yellow though.

Mojito and Punk'n are at the top of my list right now - I can't wait to see what they look like in person. Firecracker Red looks good too but my last car was red and so is my current one.. time for a change.

The design of the snorkel worries me. Attached at the air-box and the cowl only.
I noticed it wobbling on a video from the show. Probably a rushed for the show part.
Will need some kind of support between the door and folding wind screen. Maybe a limp riser?

I really liked the snorkel...but you're correct...it appears that the snorkel is only attached at one point. Several other snorkel photos from other JLs also seem to show only one attachment point.

I found several other (non-autoshow) photos of the Mojito modified Rubi. The snorkel is completely unattached from the intake down to the hood. The stack is free to catch on the next small branch and be snapped right off! It's a wonder that someone at one of the shows hasn't tugged at it and bent it off!

Rubicon Steel Stubby Bumper - 82215120
does the JL Rubicon bumper share the same part number at the JK?
Just seeing if the JK and JL are compatible or if they for some reason have different mounting points?

asking because I saw this, calling it a BRAND NEW PART, and the same as production so conflicting:

This brand new part has an ETA of late March 2018. Orders are being taken now, and will be fulfilled on a first-come, first-served basis as soon as the part is available.

This genuine OEM Jeep front off-road bumper is the same as production Rubicon. The "Stubby" bumper is the center piece of the Rubicon bumper without the end caps.
  • 1-piece Rubicon Steel Bumper
  • For 2-door and 4-door models.
  • Steel, winch-capable bumper assembly
  • Must be used with production steel skid plate
  • Front Bumper End Caps (P/N 82215115), sold separately, can be added to create the complete Rubicon bumper
