Based on the 4/8 spreadsheet it looks like my JLUR has moved a few miles closer. It shows in Alorton IL at a location called racehorse. Based on Google search /maps. It's either at one of 2 large car auction sites (hope not ;) )or this Union Pacific railyard. That place is massive and has an area that is clearly set up for auto transport. The interesting thing is the spreadsheet only shows ingates/rebays. Nothing about rail loads, no status changes from KZ, etc. Only thing that changed is that it moved halfway to me based on location but ETA went back to TBD.

Mine there as well...and only 25 miles from my dealer!!! It has been sitting there and according to Jeep Chat, it has not even shipped yet! Reaching out to my dealer today to see if he knows anything.

Hi all. Just wanted to give you guys some hope out there. I was in KZ for 4 days and got a call today that my Jeep is at the dealership. I will be picking it up tomorrow. (ordered on 3/1). I am very thankful the waiting process wasn’t too long and wanted to share my experience with you all. Good luck with getting your Jeep.

Jeep Chat tells me that mine is sitting in transit storage waiting for a railway to pick it up (probably next to yours!)... been sitting there for a month. They won't give out ETA's anymore... they tell me only the dealers are now allowed to give out that information. I guess they are tired to dealing with frustrated customers as dates keep slipping and slipping... so pawning the customers off to the dealerships to deal with now. /sigh

Sounds like mine- I ordered the day before, went to JB on 2/14 and they shipped it off to Willow Lake Michigan on 3-9-2018.. no update no information. My sales guy called me and told me another one he ordered just showed up and it is still showing in the holding area. Mine is also the Ocean Blue Rubicon. At a certain point when do we just cancel our orders and wait to order a 2019?

I suggested something like that about a month ago and got blasted on the forum. I hope you have better luck!

This is the normal way of things... It seems like they are shipping out new customer orders before filling old orders that are waiting at the remote holding sites. If you do not mind me asking what did you order and with what options?

And that is not even close to the way I am feeling right now! You ordered yours 2 weeks after mine was built! WTH @JeepCares

The internet is a evil place where you get all the information... and therefore you have all the information. This is really depressing. Maybe they are prioritizing the more expensive JLU's built after 3/1 over the cheap ones that were ordered before 3/1. :bandit:

BTW @LeefeX5 happy for you, totally not mad at you, but Jeep on the other hand....

Hello everyone,
Please know that we are aware that our customers are experiencing these shipping delays. Railyards are congested and our Logistics team is working closely with the transportation companies to clear this situation up.

Hello,

Yes, we’ve all been told that shipping is congested. I understand that. However, builds ordered a month or two months after our builds are being shipped without issue. Clearly, expediting older orders is not a priority, given what we are seeing in the tracking. If a June delivery is expected for my January build, I will seek other resolutions.

Just my opinion, but I think they are continuing to build new Jeeps and ship them out and at the same time they are going back and trying to clear the backlog on the side.

otherwise they would just be bailing water - Jeeps from the factory would be piling up faster than they can clear Jeeps out of the lots.

So unfortunately I think y'all just went through at the wrong time. If you had been built earlier or later you would have made it through but since you got built in the backlog window you are going to have to wait until the backlog is cleared while watching more recent orders get built and ship.

Why cant they see that there are ordered Jeeps just sitting around for months on end, and offer some sort of solution to those people who ordered them so long ago??!! How hard would it be to just build a new one and ship it right out? Or how about dedicate some staff to going out, and find all these old builds and start putting them on a damn truck?

My JLU Rubicon ordered 2-3 arrived in Alorton on 4-4. Final destination is Houston. They are probably sitting together. Maybe they will stick them on a truck and truck them down. Only 775 miles away compared to the original Toledo 1,231 miles away. At least they are headed in the right direction...
