Anybody with first hand knowledge of the noise difference between these two tires? I just bought a holdover 2019 Moab that came with KM2’s and my wife is complaining of the road noise when she drives it to work, it’s her daily driver 60 miles one way on 65+ mph roads. Would switching to the KO2’s be quieter? Hate to go all the way to a road tire as we do like to go off-road once in awhile. We have a set of Blizzaks for winter so that is covered. Thanks everybody, long time lurking but first time posting.

I also have a 2019 Moab, purchased last March. After about 6,000 miles on the KM2's, I picked up some KO2's with just under 2,000 miles on them. The noise difference is night and day. At first, I kind of missed the "clunking" (for lack of a better word) the KM2's made winding down into a stop, but, I have zero regrets about making the switch.

Yeah, night and day. The first 500 miles are quiet. After that....my wife gave me a thumbs up for a $3k wheel / tire purchase because the noise was absolutely unbearable. This is HER daily driver so what she wants, she gets.

Just for additional information, my Falken Wildpeak AT3W tires are quiet.

We have some test data that rates the tires in several catagories with one of them being quiet. The Falken Wildpeak A/T3W does score higher (better) when it comes to quietness.

Please let us know if we can be of assistance.

That is the problem with a lot the tires. They are stellar at first then after 500 - sometimes 10k miles - they change and get louder. My JK's duratracs are like that - start out great and just get nosier as you drive them. Still love them though.

Thanks for all the info, think I’ll try to trade for a set of KO2’s if not just sell them outright. Any idea of a fair price for all 5? 200 miles on them.

I got $1k for my wheels / tires, BUT this was before the Willy's came out. Now.....good luck getting anywhere near that. The wheels are no longer a rarity (in 2019, only the Moab had these wheels). You're likely looking at $500 (similar to other Rubi takeoffs.
