I was dead set on KO2’s as a three season tire (I use a dedicated winter tire, so I’m asking strictly for spring/summer/fall), but now I’m not sure.

Any off roading I do is generally on an FSR or a backroad (no rock crawling) which may contain mud, but I don’t “get muddy” by looking for mud holes. It’s my daily driver so I’ll be driving on dry and wet pavement as well as wet FSR’s and backroads.

But now I’m reading that they’re slippery in rain?? What gives? Should I be looking at something else?

If you have a suggestion, I would like an aggressive looking tire that’s close to the same circumference as the Sahara stock tires (32”) but on a 17” wheel. Thanks!

Did you see my post from yesterday? KO2's were horrible coming home from Vermont in snowy wet slush. Went sideways ( a little) at one point while going straight! Slippery is a good word for them. If my wife or kid had them I would swap them out right away. I am looking at Bridgestine Revo 3 and Falken AT3W. The Bridgestone is not too aggresive looking.

I don't think I did. We don't get a lot of slush here (thank goodness), but the sliding does concern me. I do want an aggressive looking tire though.

Living up in the mountains I don't use anything but the KO2. I personally don't think there's a better all around tire on the market. The Duratracs I had on my Power Wagon were decent in the snow but loud and unresponsive on the highway. To their defense they were on a 7100lb truck. I wouldn't use the Duratrac again.
