Those of you running KMC Machete’s did you add hubcentric rings?

I tried to search and could not find anything. I have a wobble I am trying to nail down.

No need for the rings...they ride nice
Having some issues with them paired with 39 km3. Got a wobble I cannot get balanced out.

Won't cost much to add them, you might need that extra bit of centering that they will provide if the lugs alone aren't quite there. And if that doesn't help at least you can scratch that off the list of possibilities.

If they aren't road force balanced on one of the newer Hunter machines you might try a shop that has them if the rings don't do the trick.

thanks for the reply, got some on the way. Think the @Discount Tire I use road force balanced them twice, not sure as to the brand of the machine.

Are you trying to balance them with beads or did you take it to a tire shop?
A tire shop, my local Discount tire, they normally do a great job. This is where I bought the tires. They recommended I pull off the tire and spin it, left me marks on 3 tires, said one was dead on.

We're sorry to learn of this @Gdub ! Let us know if the hub centric rings help.

On a side note, what are you experiencing? Shaking in the wheel - vibration in the seat, certain speeds etc?

Feel free to shoot us a PM if prefer - we'll make sure you're taken care of and thank you for your business!

Did you ever get this resolved? I've tried the rings myself and they didn't help me. Going to take mine back to Discount and try a re-balance when the covid-ban is lifted.

I am pretty sure the rings do nothing.... I have played with the tire pressure to a point where I am ok with it. Not sure if it is the tires.... all and all the rings I do not think help, at least in this particular case, but as mentioned above, they did not cost much.

I apologize tires are not balanced rayzjeep. Hub rings purpose is to help center the wheels on your hub not specifically to balance the assembly. I would recommend going back to your local Discount Tire store to have them re-balanced.
