Today after running some errands I got home and went to lock the doors with the fob then nothing. Figured it was the battery, so popped a new one in and still nothing.

The LED lights up on the fob, so pretty sure I put the battery in the right way.

I read that sometimes the cold will affect the fob battery, but don’t think that’s the issue since it was in the low 40s today and the fob was in the house for a while before I went to give it a second and third try.

I have the AJT key fob shell and have had it for about 3 months with no issue.

I have to figure out where my wife hid the spare key so I can trouble shoot with that one, but does anyone have any thoughts in the meantime?

No info.... sorry. But I do believe if it stopped working and you were stranded, you can touch the key fob to the ignition button and it will allow you to start the vehicle... then use your physical key for locking upon entry/exit.

Besides your wife's key, is your factory-supplied fob still an option?

I just tried putting the factory guts back into the original shell. Still not working.

I’ll check the fuses tomorrow. Any particular ones I should look at? Door locks work when I hit the button on the door, so I know it’s not that.

I checked the fuses and replaced fuse F5. Didn’t look bad, but swapped it anyways.
Then disconnected the battery and made sure to repress all the fuses.

That seemed to do the trick! But now when I started it up, I don’t see off-road pages in the apps, and when I turn the heat up (dual climate) it only goes to low and hi, no more temp set. Going to let it sit overnight and see what it does tomorrow. Maybe it just needs a little time to get its shit together.
