Are you able to start your Jeep? Will it start if you use the fob to press the start button? That’s what the owner’s manual recommends. Two months in and key fob is dead. Hopefully it’s just a battery. Anyone else experience this?
What would really suck is not being able to discover this if your jeep won't turn on, thanks to not being given a printed manual.....Are you able to start your Jeep? Will it start if you use the fob to press the start button? That’s what the owner’s manual recommends.
I was wondering if you are able to start your jeep with the fob battery removed using this method.
Even worse is if you print out the relevant page , and then don't read it , and then lose the key fob .What would really suck is not being able to discover this if your jeep won't turn on, thanks to not being given a printed manual.....

Yes, this is how I’m able to start it. Assuming it’s a dead battery but taking the Jeep to the dealer for them to replace the mismatched fender (hopefully) soon and will have them take care of the fob too.Are you able to start your Jeep? Someone posted a youtube video where the guy starts his JL using this method after he removed the battery from the fob.Are you able to start your Jeep? Will it start if you use the fob to press the start button? That’s what the owner’s manual recommends.
