Hello Jeepers!

I got my JLU Sport S last week and decided to dive head first into mods. So far, the Mopar Lift and 35's.

Here's some progress:

The night I got it:

The shop working on the lift (from their IG):

The lift installed with stock rims and tires. The shop said it's like 4 inches higher than before! :surprised::involve::

More to come...

That looks like it’s on it’s way to being a big difference from stock. Wish you would have taken a stock measurement so we can compare the total height gained. can’t wait to see pics of the 35’s installed.

Had to do some minor cutting on the inside of the front bumper as well as side cuts to create seems thatd allow the spare to fit (plus spacers). Holy moly haha 0AD4A7D3-90BA-4C1C-B67C-760EF2464CFA.jpeg

Looks great!! How’s the lift feel and how’s the on road handling, improved? Also, do you feel the 2” lift will allow for enough flex with the 35’s? I’m trying to decide if I want the factory lift now, or hold out a little longer for a 3” lift from a reputable aftermarket manufacturer.

It’s definitely less agile than before because of the bigger tires and increased body roll. I also have to rev it more to get it going. It’s what I expected. I can’t wait to get it dirty!

Edit:

Yes, it will fit 35's with minor cutting of the inside of the front bumper (to turn the steering wheel all the way to one side without rubbing).

The shop told me I could probably fit 37's with this lift. I think its a 2" for the rubicon and probably 3-3.5" for the sport. Mopar says themselves that this kit will fit 35's stock and 37's with highline fenders.

Nice Jeep but that shop needs some work on it's vinyl decal logo. The olde English typeface looks a little cheesy IMO.

Great looking ride....that's what Jeeps are all about. Buy it stock, add a 4" lift and big wheels and get it muddy. Love all the on-lookers doing their shopping thinking they're having fun on their weekend. Well done.

Haha I'm embracing my inner bro. I'll probably switchup to a different style/version in the future.

Haha those were my thoughts exactly. Thank god there's a self car wash near my place - I did zero scrubbing thanks to the pressure washers. No swirls!
