Not sure if this has been covered yet for the diesel Sahara crowd yet.

I’ve been wondering for about a year wether or not the Kenda Klever RT 35/10.5/17 would fit on the diesel Sahara with out a lift. (Allegedly the springs on the diesel sit a little bit higher then the gasser)

I finally got off my keister and bought a used set of OEM 17” rims and ordered the Kendas

I got them mounted and on the jeep today.
They tuck nicely into the wheel wells
Turn test no rubbing in lock to lock turns forward and reverse.
I’ll have to report back once I get a chance to go flex it out.
I do have a Mopar lift waiting in the wings but wanted to see how it went with just the tires to start with.
Here are some pics

The new tires look great. Interested to hear how the ride changes and any steering issues.

Steering is fine, but you can feel that the wheel/tire combo is heavier but still drives well. The TSB updated steering box has been installed.

The ride is actually a bit smoother on dirt roads, the taller side wall really deals with ruts and wash board well. Current psi is 35. I’m sure it would smooth up even more if I dropped down 5-8psi

the only hiccup so far is that the spare tire mount will need to be changed to hold the new size tire.

Have been running them on stock rims for a while now and have had no issues, work well on and off road. 2020 Unlimited Diesel with a 2 1/2 economy lift. Same color as yours, Sarge green, love it

They rub at full articulation, I have the mopar lift sitting in the box, time to slap it on. What model is your eco ? Which lift are you running? Steel bumpers ?

Did they rub at full articulation with sway bars connected or disconnected?

I'm often occupied, by many things, often at the same time
I just wish there were (a lot) more options in that size. F*ck fat tires.

I dunno, I miss tire sizes like I had on my CJ5, the 35x14.5, worked great on 10" wide wheels, although the hum of the bias plys could get deafening. But that said, pizza cutters are a great option as well!

Wish they had availability on both ends :)

sorry - haven’t been on the forum for a bit
I have no rubbing fully flexed, full lock left to right with the swaybar connected. Haven’t tried it disconnected yet. Its a Sahara with hard top, stock plastic bumpers.
