Keeps popping out of 4L

when I try to use 4L it always pops out to neutral, 4H works fine. Does anyone else have this issue?

Transfer case selector might need adjustment?

There’s another thread of an owner who can’t get his selector back to 2H or 4H from 4L.

I thought if you tried going too fast for 4L it would throw you into neutral? Is that what you are experiencing?

If not please let us know what the problem/solution was.

Have you tried shifting in/out of 4L while the JL is not moving and in Neutral? I had a heck of a time getting mine into 4L while moving <3mph. Engaging 4L from a standstill works but I really had to crank the shifter more than my old LJ...
