the blue and red get connected when the switch is on.
they are disconnected when it's off.
the ground wire going to the switch is just for the light in the switch.

you can test this before putting on the vehicle to be sure. you can also verify with an ohm meter by unplugging the switch and seeing if the blue to red ohms changes to zero or close to it when you turn the switch on

i just checked a KC switch that i didnt use on my install. that's how it works.

so all you need to do is solder the red to the blue, tape tightly, with shrink tube over the tape to seal it good.
ignore the ground/black wire that goes to the switch.

Anyone know how I can chop up this harness to wire the RGB Rock lights to my Aux switches?

I’m a little confused as the power (red) runs from the battery to the switch. I assume it runs back to the lights via the blue when the switch is turned on. I don’t want the switch though.

Not sure what to cut and what to keep or what to add. :)

Here is the wiring diagram. It looks slightly different than your picture of the harness. KC might have updated the harness since the time of the diagram on their website. It looks like your fused red wire goes straight to the switch. Then the blue is your switch leg to the controller. The black from the battery is the main negative, and the black from the controller to the switch is for the switch LED indicator that it is ON. If you can confirm that there is only the red wire to the switch from the fuse, then you can use the blue to tie in to your fused output auxiliary system. Just match your AUX system fuse to the KC harness inline fuse. Before you start cutting things, you can also unplug the 3 wires on the KC switch, just land the black on your battery negative, and the blue to your aux fused output. If it turns on and works, then you can remove the red and second black that goes to the switch. Just keeping the main black and the blue. Also it is always good to test any lights before installing and cutting.

You nailed it! I was able to sort it out Saturday and finish the install of 4 of them. Those are all in the wheel wells secured to plastic liners. Not sure how to mount the side ones. Sorta wish I went with the Cyclones, but the Color changing is cool. Lol.

So I completed the KC upgrading of my stock headlights with a matching pair of the “4 gravity led fog light replacements. I was going to go amber but decided I wanted to throw more white since the daily use case didn’t include dust/fog so much. That said, I am very pleased with the results! The headlights were an impressive upgrade throwing light down range, the floods fill the gap between and to the side very nicely. Highly recommend, and it’s a direct plug in and bolt on for the Arcus bumper if you get the Sahara / Rubi mount. This is by far my favorite and most appreciated mod I have done for this Jeep.

Good times in CO at Standley Lake.
Couple of White Jeeps, one from CA and other from TX @S-Will (texasxlander), both sporting KC!

Installed both the Gravity Pro headlights and the G4 Amber fogs. Just got the fogs put on today with the new bumper. Love them!

I swear, the high beams on these headlights are so bright that bears come out of hibernation, vampires turn to dust, and lost ships crash on the rocks nearby. ;)

Put a pair of Gravity Pro6 spots on the A-Pillars yesterday.

And wow, these things are nice.

I’m trying to install the mount for the 50” lighbar but I don’t have the right cowl bolts. Does anyone know how long those bolts are?
