Getting the MC 2.5 True Dual lift, 15-52 Analog HD and can't decide on K02 or RG.

95% daily driver on pavement. I will get either in the SL or C rated versions.

Money isn't the concern, rather noise, tire weight and life of the tire. I

Im FL so some rocky, muddy, sandy, trails, no crazy boulders or rock ledges. Wet roads, little to no ice.

I appreciate any feedback.

KO2s some of the best tires on the planet. My only gripe is they simply don't look aggressive, especially not in bigger sizes like 37s. The tread blocks size is constant which makes for a wicked looking 29" tire on a stock Samurai but not very impressive on a lifted JL

Ridge Grapplers tend to be very heavy. Also most sizes seem to be E or F rated. I would go BFG KO2 as they are lightweight and available in better load ratings.

I'd look at the Toyo Open Country R/T as well. I went with these over the Ridge Grapplers as I saved about $175 on all 5 between the two. Really happy with them on payment. And the 45k mile warranty is a nice bonus.

Went Ridge Grapplers 285/75r17 and couldn't be happier. Great looks and control. Sound is not an issue. I'm running at 35psi, will likely go down to 30.

Just wanted to report back. Thanks all.

37 KO2’s have very little road noise with my experience. Running 35 PSI

Looks awesome and nice wheels, too!

How does acceleration and braking feel? Are they any/much noisier than stock?

Noisier than stock yes, but I've also found it depends on psi I'm at 30 now which is more noticeable than they were at 35. Either are fine and do not bother me. If it means anything, this is my wife's daily driver and I have heard no complaints or even a comment about it. Also, not much noisier than stock.

Acceleration feels just fine. Braking is slower but not bad. I think a brake upgrade is next. Keep in mind mine is a Sport S which has a smaller brake set than Sahara or Rubicon.

Highway cruising sees 8th gear occasionally. Cruising at 70mph gets me 17mpg.

No regrets at all.

Ridge Grapplers have much better traction off road. Both jeeps in this vid are a 2013 JKUR, the other is a 2014 JKUR. Both had 2 passengers, were unlocked, and in 4 high. At the 29 second mark, you will hear the jeep spin the tires, where as the next jeep didn't. The first jeep was running 30 psi, while I was running 38 with the ridge grapplers in the second jeep. Took a little off road trio to compare both tires, and the Nitto's beat the BFG's in every scenario we tried.
