I actually like the black steel wheels on the base Sport better than these wheels. Alloy wheels that look like the crappy JK base steel wheels.
I agree. I liked the JK/U Sport S wheels even if they were a little boring. They looked substantial at least. I think I am going to have to get the upgraded wheels which are not cheap for basically the same quality wheel. It's frustrating but these jut don't do it for me.

I would rather get a set of aftermarket wheels. You can get some for $120-150 a wheel from Tirerack or Discount Tire

I'm considering it. I've got to see them in person first.

Just saw my first JLU and must say I was quite impressed.

One word on the interior....QUALITY!

The use of materials on the interior are quite impressive....steering wheel, dash, knobs, etc.

Seats were more comfortable than expected.

Those wheels look exactly like the chief edition wheels, which are the current Recon wheels in silver.

Great observation.

They look very similar but not the exact same wheel. Just slightly different in the hub area.

They were nice/quality wheels. I like that they at least tried with the simulated beadlock look(Bolts actually looked the part, rather than just a machined circle on the wheel.) I also like that they were just the 5x5 bolt pattern without the massive caps that cover two separate bolt patterns.
Balanced with very little weight when combined with the toyos.
I had two different customers in at that time with different styles in mind. I much preferred the Procomp wheels to the 20" wheels that the other customer decided on(You can see the difference in the fake bolts in this pic.)

I really do not like that little bridge piece between the bumper & fender. European JK models had that also. I would have thought it was for export only...
Wrangler sports will have the close out cover
