Just ask @cosine he knows!
I would not go with stock offset, that’s +45 or so.

AEV’s +25 Borah and Pintler for the JL are good options.
OP has the non-Rubicon though, needs a bit more outward room since the axles are .75" narrower on each side.

OP do yourself and get yourself some Rubi takeoff suspension. super easy install. i rocked this same set up for about a year. rubi suspension on 33s. loved it.

im still on rubi suspension (for now) but on 35s now. love it even more lol

Please post some pictures when you have them up and running. It will help others who are searching for the same information.

Plus we just love to see good looking jeeps.

The axles on the Rubicons are wider than those of the non-Rubicons. I have read that they are 1.5" wider. I would expect these wheels to look significantly different.

Anyone got a front/rear view pic of the Rubicon with -12?
Hoping it does not stick out too much. If it’s just like the pic above,
I’m happy.
Thanks
If referring to the white Sport, further up this page, it's not a great example of tire poke. He's got the Mopar lift, which doesn't include the adjustable front and rear track bars needed to center the axles under the frame/body. See how the drivers front is considerably further out than the passenger front? And opposite on the rear?

I've got 17x9 wheels with -12mm offset, but they're wrapped in 38x13.5's and stick out a bit further than the 33x11.5 and 35x12.5 tires that have been mentioned so far.

Not bad. Am in the fence of the 35 or 37. Might just stay with the 35 to keep it simple with no other mods. Which track bar did you get?

It's the factory steel bumper without the wings. The 38's were rubbing on them, and it looks better without them anyway.

The bull bar is the Maximus-3 SLP. I love their bars over everyone else's, because they use 2.5" tubing vs the usual 2". The former looks more proportionate to the Jeep.

I currently have the SteerSmarts Yeti Pro track bar, but also sitting on a Metalcloak bar that is going on as soon as the weather gets back up in the 40's. The SteerSmarts is great, but it slightly interferes with the ARB front diff cover when the whole axle compresses from drop-offs.

If not lifting, 35's are nice. But if a lift is in your future, you'll wish you had gone bigger. That was a $5-6k lesson that I learned.

Heres a set of 315/70-17 bfgoodrich ko2's on an otherwise stock Rubicon, and with my first 2" Dynatrac lift.

So I have a 2021 Jeep JL sport. all stock. Just ordered 17x9 wheels and bfg's all terrain KO2s tires. it has a -12 offset and I'm concerned that will be too wide of a look. I want like 1.5 inches out from fenders. I'm getting 285/70/r17 tires. think it will look ok? anyone post some pics of this same setup? also, no lift. thanks!
UPDATE:. All done. I think they turned out great!

Nice. Can’t go wrong with the classic Baja wheels. Now cut those things off of you front bumper.
