So I have a 2021 Jeep JL sport. all stock. Just ordered 17x9 wheels and bfg's all terrain KO2s tires. it has a -12 offset and I'm concerned that will be too wide of a look. I want like 1.5 inches out from fenders. I'm getting 285/70/r17 tires. think it will look ok? anyone post some pics of this same setup? also, no lift. thanks!

That set up should get you right to where you want to be.

Important question: did you select 5-127 as your bolt pattern?

not sure. I let the place pick it for me based on my jeep year and type.

Just ask @cosine he knows!
Those will look nice, a bit more negative offset than I prefer, but this will allow for more flex if you get a lift or even wider/taller tires next time :)

And FWIW there are countless members here that start out w/ "no lift, staying w/ 33s" and end up going taller & wider in pretty short order, so we'll stay tuned :)

thanks just worried it will look to goofy and wide. but thats the offset that comes with wheels. i wanted 0. but I guess its just 12mm or less than an inch difference. guy at mod place says it will look bad ass. i hope hes right lol. expensive decision

Like I said, it should look nice. If you are totally locked in on never lifting or never going wider/taller w/ the tires then an offset around +10 would be closer to ideal. But you're in a good spot, a nice looking classic wheel design that will allow you plenty of options should you decide to go that way later on.

Here is a pic for reference.
Tires: BFG KO2's 285/70R17
Wheels: 17 x 9 w/ +1 offset
Stock Sport suspension when this pic was taken

Your -12 offset wheels will stick out about 1/2" further.

cool. thanks! 1/2 inch farther shouldn't be that big of a deal I don't think.
